Eleven years in the making, the Halim Time and Glass Museum in Evanston is one of the newest museums in the Chicagoland area. Mr. Cameel Halim will speak about the formation of his and his wife’s private collection, started over three decades ago and their decision to establish a museum and the building in which it is housed. The museum is the repository of a world class collection of historic timepieces, stained glass windows and other decorative arts. Permanent exhibits include the American Stained Glass Masters, the Louis Comfort Tiffany Gallery and Clocks of the World.
