Alfred Hitchcock, known as the "Master of Suspense," is more closely identified with the thriller than any other filmmaker is associated with a single genre. His last name even spawned the popular adjective "Hitchcockian" in order to mean "suspenseful." But what gives his films their uncommon power? Why do movie lovers return to them again and again? This program will take a closer look at some of the specific visual strategies that Hitchcock employed in some of his most famous works, especially the beloved "voyeurism trilogy" comprised of REAR WINDOW (1954), VERTIGO (1958) and PSYCHO (1960), in order to illustrate why he is widely regarded as one of the greatest directors of all time. **This program replaces Walt Disney: Creativity Frame by Frame** To register for this webinar, click HERE.
